A nice hot cup of morning light

Watched the sky gradually get lighter this morning, and when it appeared it might be a decent sunrise, I prepped a couple cameras to make exposures. Don't know what it is with me and sunrises, I just like to shoot them.
Softtone
Above is Polaroid EdgeCut Softtone film made with Polaroid Spectra camera. This film produces images that are soft, low-contrast, even foggy at times, but through few ouchobeams of direct sunlight at it and it gets a nice glow. You can say goodbye to your shadow detail, but I don't care, that's what shadows are for, sometimes, just places that quietly do their job of avoiding the light so other features can take center stage
5D Mk II

7D with 24-105
Made the last 3 exposures on a roll of Kodachrome 64 with a wide-angle lens. The Kodachrome went out in today's mail to Dwayne's Photo, along with some 120 from the Holga and Hasselblad.

These digital images have no adjustments made - straight raw rendered in jpg. If this blog becomes a regular thing, I'll just add a small jpg capture to raw files so don't have to go through Camera Raw to post an image here. Ever since reading something Joel
